Greetings from the city of ♥ Before I reveal today's topic, I thought I'd share with you the savory diner that I prepared with my charming German friend, Carina. Enjoy...
The story goes a little something like this...

Some breadcrumbs, to-mâ-tos, cheese and Italian bacon... |
And then... Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it!!!
Le-gend-ary - Pasta a la Carbonada with a Twist Still fuming... Smelling delicious! |
Now I worked up your appetite. Gr-ea-ttt! (Sarcasm? Barely!) Okay, okay, go get yourself something to nibble on at least until you're done reading this. I'll wait... Stiilllll waiting! Here's a few healthy ideas: Chips, M & M's, Bassé Nuts. Anymore suggestions needed? Oh shoot! Did I say healthy, I meant to write UNhealthy. I'm so clumsy with this whole writing thing... Now that your cravings are taken care of and that you're comfortable in your sitting arrangements, can we go back to my subject of the day? Thank you!
Ah! All this junk food talking got me craving chocolate... - No, I can't, I can't, I really can't - Okay, so I was saying? FOCUS! Agggh! Right, subject of the day: Languages. What's the tie between foods and languages you're asking yourself. Simple I say! Foods are direct links to the countries, the cultures and the languages they come from.
Desperately trying to falling asleep yesterday - I'm not even trying to be melodramatic here, 18 nights and counting without a decent night of sleep - I was still cogitating about the spur-of-the-moment-impulsive creation of my blog. Then, I came to realizing that the first sentence of my first entry had the name of the city I'm currently in completely deformed from it's original size and format. To be precise, Paris became Par-reee. - Okay, so it was some kind of excitement - I still couldn't stop thinking about the paradox that was hiding behind it: Trying to make the frenchest city in the world, english. Something was definitely wrong about that!
Everything became even clearer as I was promoting my master piece - in the making - Paris did not earn the "frenchest city" status for nothing. And so, all Parisians - and that's an understatement - regardless of there status, occupation or background make deforming the english language there personal most important mission of the day. I found myself going from talking about my new baby with soooo much enthusiasm to realizing that they wouldn't get any of it. Ha! One even went on to complementing my templates. Really?! Templates, huh? That's when I thought to myself: I already talk the franglophone language as I like to call it. - Definition: Mixture of both the French & English languages simultaneously... LITERALLY - why not use that ability to everyone's advantage?
Basically, the idea would be for me to write sporadically both english and french posts, - that's how far I'll go though, don't be to demanding! - all depending on the inspiration(s) of the day. That way, all my family, friends and followers, from near or far, will be able to read and enjoy my stories, anecdotes and thoughts. What do you think about that? Do we have ourselves a deal peeps?! - Bah! It's not as if you really have a choice; This isn't a democracy: I'm the QUEEN, remember?! -
Another thing about languages, or maybe not: Typography. For an assignment in one of my most captivating classes - N O T - Oh, was that too big? Just making sure the message was clear! - we had to present all forms of printing - since the beginning of time!!! - One of them, was in fact Typography. Surfing the
Still obsessing about the right word?
Oh Nana! What number(s) would you press?
After all this debate/talk - Who am I kidding? There's no debate, it's Me, Myself and I in front of an unresponsive, non-contridicting screen - about healthy junk food, words, numbers and letters, only one question remains unanswered in my mind at 1:29 am, local Paris time... M & M's or Apple? - I thought I told you ♫ I'm a star. You see the ice? You see the cars? Flashy lights; everywhere we are livin' like, like theres no tomorrow ♪: I Love food with a capital L... Don't judge me. - Maybe I'm more of a Big Fruit after all; The crowns are simply not suitable for me - or my appetite - !
